The process in 5 easy steps
1. Prepare all ingredients. Place the jar, wax, fragrance, wick and equipment on a clean work surface.
2. Melt the wax. Melt the wax carefully in a water bath (not over direct heat). Stir until completely liquid.
3. Add fragrance. Once the wax has cooled to the desired temperature, add your chosen fragrance and stir well.
4. Install the wick and pour in the wax. Place the wick in the centre of the jar and hold it in place with a holder. Slowly pour the wax into the jar.
5. Let it set. Let the candle stand at room temperature. Once it is completely solid, you can cut the wick and apply the label.
Tips for beginners:
Do not use a microwave to melt the wax.
Do not add your fragrances – not all are suitable for burning.
Use a thermometer if you want perfect results.
